Incorporated in 2002, Palmetto Bay is a relatively new suburb Situated on west of Biscayne Bay and south of Miami, it boasts direct access to water for all citizens. With several blossoming parks, Palmetto bay is also known as ‘Village of Parks’. The glimpse of endless green pasture under the Floridian sun is truly surreal and is enjoyed by families & visitors alike.

Palmetto Bay is family-friendly community and it hosts several year-round festivals, the neighborhood features top private and public schools as well as shopping and dining venues. However the highlight of Palmetto Bay is numerous outdoor and recreational activities that it has to offer. Seven parks here, always stays active. From walking, reading, relaxing, picnicking, playing, jogging, biking, softball, football, beach volleyball, and tennis neighborhood parks have lot of energy going on. The neighborhood also features several historical landmarks including the Deering Estate at Cutler, a 444-acre environmental, archeological and historical preserve. The Bill Sadowski Park and Nature Center here are loved by all nature enthusiasts. While golfers adorn the Palmetto Golf Course - Built in 1959, which is a 18-hole Championship course on 121 acres designed by Dick Wilson, running alongside US1 on the west side at SW 152 Street.
